A Revolutionary new design conceived for the special demands of mountain and flight rescue.

Many hundreds of these mattress are in use in the Austrian Tyrol and Eastern Austria for helicopter evacuation of suspected spinal injuries.

 New double-trapeziodal shape  : provides  high side- and length-stability.

 Complies to the measurement-requirements of  European Standard EN 1865 and yet the mattress remains very handy and light due to the shape of the head and leg area.

 Revolutionary 24-Chamber System:  Always holds the filling material in place. That allows the vacuum mattress to be instantly applied even in difficult terrain.

 High-grade filling material and the 24-chamber system gives an extremely low profile of the vacuum mattress at maximum stability in the fully evacuated condition.

 The mattress can be readily shaped to the exact body form of the injured patient and thus provides optimum immobilization.

 The mattress skin is manufactured from exceptionally tough, fibre reinforced TPU-material with durable welds due to the RF CAM welding-procedure.

 Packs to a low volume because of the low 50 mm height of the mattress.

 Rugged outside-cover with eight carrying handles provides that extra puncture protection for the mattress and takes the lifting load off the inner mattress.

The fixation belt system is especially designed for aerial ambulance or helicopter transportation and allows very secure immobilisation by a single rescuer.

 The automatic self-closing valve ensures that the mattress stays rigid for long periods after evacuation in compliance with EN 1865

 Temperature resistance   : - 40°C to +70°C

The inner mattress is CE certified and complies with the EN standards EN 1765 and EN 1865 for Medical vehicles and their equipment. (Road ambulances)

The inner mattress is  manufactured by RedVac in a factory certified to the ISO 9001 international management standard.
